بازی Microsoft Flight Simulator یکی از جاه‌طلبانه‌ترین پروژه‌های بازی‌های ویدیویی تا به امروز به شمار می‌آید. این‌که تمام کره زمین درون یک بازی جای بگیرد از تخیلات هر آدمی به دور است و مطمئناً اگر یک شخص ناآشنا با این صنعت یک‌بار بازی مذکور را تجربه کند، باز هم باور کردن این موضوع برایش سخت خواهد بود. اما توسعه‌دهنده این بازی قصد ندارد متوقف شود. همیشه و همیشه جا برای پیشرفت وجود دارد و قرار است با آپدیت بعدی بازی Microsoft Flight Simulator به تجربه بهتری از این بازی دست پیدا کنیم.

آخرین آپدیت بازی Microsoft Flight Simulator، مجموعه جدیدی از مناطق دیدنی و فرودگاه‌ها را به بازی اضافه کرده و در حال حاضر آپدیت 1.11.6.0 مربوط به منطقه ایالات‌متحده بازی در دسترس است. این آپدیت 50 جاذبه دیدنی جدید را به بازی اضافه کرده و عیب و ایراد‌های متعددی را جهت کارایی و پایداری هر چه بیشتر آن رفع کرده است. هواپیما‌ها، رابط کاربری، ورودی‌ها،‌ فعالیت‌ها و جهان بازی از دیگر مواردی هستند که در این آپدیت به آن‌ها توجه شده است و تغییراتی مثبت یافته‌اند.
